As part of an ErasmusPlus measure, 8 young people and their supervisor from the Kelmė Vocational Training Center in Lithuania visited Schwerin. It was a great adventure for the youngsters because it was the first time they had been abroad for such a long time. Accompanied by their supervisor, they had the opportunity to get to know German culture and society and to gain experience in professional life.
In Schwerin, Germany, the 8 young people from Lithuania did an internship in different companies. This allowed the participants to get a taste of German professional life and to recognize the differences to the Lithuanian professional field. Not only did you get more insight into German working life, you also gained an understanding of everyday life in other cultures and their skills as well as the working culture of others.
The young people had the opportunity to enrich their everyday life through this experience. They learned many new things about the German working world, which they in turn were able to pass on in Lithuania.
During their visit, the youngsters visited various sights in Schwerin and learned more about German culture.
Dianora, Karolina, Ignas, Aivaras, Edgaras, Vilius, Gvidas and Evaldas had a unique opportunity to broaden their horizons and develop their skills.
