Four talented students from the Cīrava Vocational School (Kandavas Lauksaimniecības tehnikums) in Latvia embarked on an exciting adventure as part of an Erasmus Plus mobility project. Anastasija, Diāna, Alise, and Laura were able to gain valuable practical experience in the catering industry in Schwerin.
During their one-month stay, they had the opportunity to work in renowned restaurants such as “Lukas” in the old town and the “Orangerie” in the fairytale castle of Schwerin. Here, they were welcomed with open arms and were able to learn a great deal about German cuisine and culture, experiences that will be of great benefit to them in their professional careers.
ErasmusPlus mobility projects offer students the opportunity to gain international experience, explore new perspectives, and expand their professional skills. But alongside the hard work, there was also time for cultural and leisure activities. A visit to the enchanting Schwerin Christmas market was a particular highlight.
We wish Anastasija, Diāna, Alise, and Laura much success in their future careers. Who knows, maybe we’ll see each other again one day in the international culinary world.
