ErasmusPlus Mobility Projects: Professional Experience and Cultural Diversity

ErasmusPlus mobility projects offer young people the opportunity to gain international experience and grow professionally. Through internships, such as the one undertaken by the eight trainees from Kandava, participants gain valuable insights into foreign work systems and cultures. This combination of practical experience and cultural exchange not only expands participants’ knowledge but also promotes intercultural competence.

The Internship in Schwerin: Learning, Discovering, and Growing

As part of an ErasmusPlus project, eight trainees from Latvia – Amanda, Samanta, Anna, Ervīns, Nikola, Rūta, Ralfs, and Andris – wrote a significant chapter of their professional training in Germany. During a one-month stay in Schwerin, they worked in renowned restaurants and car repair shops, where they received a warm welcome and intensive training.

Cultural Experiences in Germany

In addition to their work, the young people explored Germany and deepened their understanding of its culture. Berlin, Hamburg, Wismar, and Rostock were on their itinerary, making the internship a comprehensive learning experience.

We wish the eight dedicated trainees all the best for their future. Perhaps our paths will cross again one day!
