Erasmus+ is a European Union program that gives young people the opportunity to take part in various exchange programs such as internships and study programs abroad. It promotes the social and professional development of young Europeans and supports them in experiencing different cultures and ways of life.
Ritvars from the vocational school in Aizkraukle, Latvia, managed to come to Schwerin through an internship as part of an Erasmus+ funding program. He gained a lot of insights into working methods in Germany. At first he had to get used to many new things, but now he has a deep understanding of the different working methods and materials used here.
It is wonderful to see how Erasmus+ can reach individual young people and empower them to improve their career opportunities in Europe and beyond. We wish Ritvars all the best on his further journey and hope that he can benefit from this experience and follow his dreams.
