It’s unbelievable what six trainees from Kuldiga, Latvia in Schwerin, Germany have achieved in just one month. As part of an Erasmus+ funding measure, they completed an internship at various Schwerin companies from March 29, 2023 to April 26, 2023. The participants were a diverse team: 4 trainees and 2 participants who had already completed their training and were fully engaged in professional life.
The participants learned in the areas of vehicle mechatronics and carpentry. The participants learned a lot during their internship and learned new techniques and activities in their respective professional fields. They had to face everyday challenges and complete a series of tasks. This was a good opportunity to develop their skills and gain new experiences.
All in all, it was a nice and instructive time for the participants. Thanks to the Erasmus+ program, they had the unique opportunity to do an international internship and thus get to know new cultures, languages and working methods. This experience will surely give them an edge when looking for a job in the future and will Kōlina, Petra, Līga, Mārtins, Elvis and Alexandrs them on their way to a successful career.
