ErasmusPlus is one of the European programs for education, youth and sport. It supports students, trainees and young adults if they are given the opportunity to receive further vocational training abroad.
Aleksis from Saldus, Latvia recently completed an internship as part of the ErasmusPlus program at Restaurant Lukas in Schwerin, Germany. He learns to cook at a vocational school in Kuldīga, Latvia.
During his time in Germany, Aleksis not only got to know different food recipes, but also different working methods than are common in Latvia. He took a lot of valuable experience with him, which will support him in his professional and personal development.
With the ErasmusPlus program, other students and young adults around the world can also get such an opportunity to gain valuable and important experience. The programs enable participants to build a global community that values diverse skills, transcending culture, politics and religion. In this way, they can develop further on an international level and benefit from it.
We wish Aleksis all the best for his private and professional future and hope that he will carry this experience with him for a long time. With the ErasmusPlus program he can manage to develop further and expand his skills so that he can become a successful person.
