Evers from the vocational school in Daugavpils, Latvia has just returned home from his stay in Schwerin. For the last 130 days he has been working as an electrician in a Schwerin company that was involved in the project as part of the Erasmus+ program. Erasmus+ is an initiative of the European Union that offers young people the opportunity to work in other countries.
Evers experienced many things in Schwerin that he had never experienced before. First of all, he was impressed by the people he worked with. He says that everyone has been very nice and helpful and that he has learned a lot.
In addition, Evers learned a lot about the culture and history of Schwerin and Germany. He has visited various monuments and sights, including the Schwerin Castle. A visit to Berlin was also part of the programme. In other words, it was a very educational experience.
Evers says that participating in Erasmus+ has enriched him as a person. He hopes that more people from his country will have the opportunity to follow the same path and see how much one can benefit from participating in Erasmus+.
