My name is Madara and I am a vocational school student from Rēzekne, Latvia. I’m studying in the Department of Food Processing Technology. Now I have completed an internship in Schwerin. I was lucky enough to get a job in Mecklenburg’s bakery, where I was allowed to work as a confectioner.
The internship was a great experience for me. I learned a lot, for example how to prepare baked goods and how to ensure the correct preparation and presentation of the products. I also learned how to deal professionally with suppliers and customers and how to organize a team to deliver the best possible quality.
I am really grateful for the opportunity to do this internship. It was a great experience working in a challenging environment and learning new things. I am also grateful for the hospitality and support I received from the staff and management at Mecklenburgs Backstube.
This internship was part of the ErasmusPlus mobility project and I’m glad I had the opportunity to expand my knowledge and skills and to prove myself in a new environment. I can only recommend everyone to do an internship to gain new experience and develop.
